The Statue of Responsibility Foundation is structured as a 501-c-3 non-profit corporation. The purpose of the Foundation will be to first secure funds to build the monument, Visitors’ Center and Monument Pathway.

The on-going purpose of the Foundation will be to establish an educational scholarship fund that will award educational scholarships to university bound individuals who successfully meet the Foundation’s criteria. Successful scholarship recipients with financial need, will demonstrate how they have applied the principle of responsibility in their life – and how they plan to carry forward with the application of responsibility following their university graduation.
