Michael Levine, veteran public relations industry leader, has recently been welcomed to the Statue of Responsibility Foundation as a Board of Trustee member.

Mr. Levine, with more than 20 years of professional PR experience, brings immense conviction to the Statue of Responsibility monument project. Levine has advocated the building of the monument for the last 10 years and has taken several opportunities to voice his ideas to the press.

Speaking about his recent appointment, Levine said, “I am honored to join the Board of Trustees and I have decided that my work for the last ten years to help build a Statue of Responsibility belongs in support of this Foundation. The Statue of Responsibility Foundation is committed to seeing the idea of Dr. Viktor E. Frankl become a reality. In the 1960’s, Frankl said, “Freedom is not the last word. Freedom is only part of the story and half of the truth. The positive aspect of freedom is responsibleness. That is why I recommend that the Statue of Liberty on the East Coast be supplemented by a Statue of Responsibility on the West Coast.” The Statue of Responsibility Foundation, a 501-c-3, non-profit corporation, has a two-fold mission: First, to raise the funding necessary to construct the monument. Second, and more long-term in nature, is to establish an educational scholarship fund.
